We have wrens nesting in the yard. At this stage they seem to have no sense of self preservation. This little guy let me get to within about 15 inches of him. He still didn’t hide then but I got worried that one of his parents would come and poke out my eyes, so I let him be.
Made this carving of an eye a few months ago. Wanted to put it up somewhere where being watched might improve behaviour. So, I put it up next to the washroom sink. Maybe it will improve handwashing. Not mine of course, that is already perfect.
If I am going to post to this regularly I have to be able to do it from my phone. Couldn’t find any compelling app to do it. But, apparently you can post to Wrodpress by email! I installed their add-in “Postie”(postieplugin.com) t o do it and set up a new email account on my shared hosting site. Very simple setup.
